School sports campaign continues

The campaign to save the schools sports partnerships from the £162 million cuts is continuing.
After the Prime Minister indicated that the government may be rethink its decision, a peaceful protest is planned for tomorrow to maintain the pressure.
The timetable for tomorrow is:
10.00 Young people will gather outside the Houses of Parliament to highlight their opposition to the government cuts to school sport. 11.45 National Campaign leader, 17-year-old Debbie Foote, other young people, and Darren Campbell will meet shadow Education Secretary, Andy Burnham. 12.30 A delegation of 150 young people, led by Debbie Foote, will walk to Downing St and present the petition.
