Law students need your help for charity ball
15 Sep 2010
A group of law students need your support to help them make a success of a charity ball in aid of the 'Breakthrough Breast Cancer' charity.
The students have organised a fantastic evening at The Waldorf Hotel in London, with music, guest speaker (BBC TV and Radio 4 Today programme sports presenter, Garry Richardson), dancing, celebrity auction, and prize raffle with great prizes. It all happens on Saturday 2nd October.
The students (and they include my daughter!) have staked a lot on this - including their own money - and badly need to sell some more tickets to ensure they raise their fund-raising target for the charity.
Although the event was initially aimed at the legal profession, they are now selling tickets to any groups and individuals who would like to support this really worthwhile charity in return for a great value, and memorable, night out.
So why not get your school, charity, group or organisation to buy a table (a table for 10 costs just £775)? Full details at the event's website www.event4breakthrough.com/homepage.php
The students hope to raise up to £6,000 for the charity: breakthrough.org.uk/
