Education under election spotlight on Teachers TV
22 Mar 2010
The school policies of the three main political parties are put under scrutiny in three half-hour programmes that I have just recorded for Teachers TV.
In each programme, a panel comprising a secondary head, a primary teacher, a teaching assistant, and a governor get their chance to quiz the parties' spokespeople.
The questions cover, amongst many other topics, the review of the curriculum, the future of SATs, the prospects for diplomas, the survival of league tables, the new Report Cards, and school funding.
