Teachers' new powers on discipline

Are you clear about the powers that teachers now have to keep discipline, both in the school and outside the school gates? If not, try to catch my Teachers TV programme on the new disciplinary powers available to teachers.

The programme, part of the Need To Know series, includes an interview with Sir Alan Steer as well as a case studies of how the powers are working in practice. It also explains the latest changes in the law on school discipline.
