Radio 4 primary school series starts

 Sorry to go on about it...but just a reminder that my BBC Radio 4 series on the history of primary schools - From Abacus to Circle Time - starts on Tuesday 15th September at 1600.

There is also a feature about it in The Education Guardian on Tuesday this week.

Episodes 2 and 3 follow at the same time in subsequent weeks. A debate on the future of primary eduaction will follow on the Wednesday evening (September 30th).

If you work in schools and find 4 o'clock in the afternoon inconvenient (something the schedulers did not seem to take into account), then please use the 'listen again' facility on the BBC Radio 4 website...although in this case I suppose you would be listening for the first time rather than listening again!
