I am in Hospital

Sorry for the lack of recent posts. I had to go into hospital last Monday and so far have not been able to tunnel my way out (further escape plans are still being hatched). I had three litres of fluid drained from my left lung which explains why I found the hills on my Welsh bike ride such hard work - even Bradley Wiggins might have struggled with that much extra fluid on board. I was in some pain but now feeling much better. Unfortunately it is difficult to get internet access in hospital but I will update you all once I'm out.

Thinking of you and a challenge
Thinking of you Mike. My dad is 4 weeks into 6 weeks of intense radio and cancer is often on my mind.

Sue and I are just back from three weeks in France and our daughter Rachel told us that things weren't going sccording to plan for you. We're thinking of you a lot and wishing you well, especially with your hospital escape plans. If Bradley Wiggins can win the Tour de France and the time trial, Mo F can win the 10,000 and the 5000, and GB can win all those medals, we have faith that you can pull through this difficult stage.

We met just a month ago on Tuesday 17 July at Edward Rayne pub. It was 18 years since we had enjoyed something meaningful days at 13 Northem Gardens in Oxford. I was very much delighted to see Mike's smile again.I am now back to Japan to manage my studends and my supporters of Buddhist temple(I have also become a Buddhist priest!).
